Welcome . . .

Welcome to my website. Thanks so much for visiting. You are welcome to explore, but please realize that this is a work in progress. If it seems disorganized, incomplete, and out of date, well, it is – at least in part. Please have patience; I’m in the process of revising and adding many things. Below is a detailed guide to the “Pilgrim Shepherd.” Please subscribe to be notified of new posts.

The following links may help you find what you may be looking for. This Welcome Page will be continually updated and expanded, so check back often for the latest.

My YouTube Channel. Here you can find the videos of my latest Banquet of the Word Presentations and homilies, as well as many presentations that I’ve done on liturgy, scripture, and pilgrimage.

Subscribe to my newsletter. You can follow what I’m doing and thinking in my email newsletter. In the past, it’s been kind of irregular, but I’m committed to getting it out twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays.

Follow me on Facebook. I usually post my homilies and newsletters, but sometimes random thoughts and stuff that I find interesting and helpful – or irresistibly funny. I hope you will enjoy reading what I put on Facebook. I try, with some success, not to get caught up in political polarization and nasty commentary.

Banquet of the Word. Note: this is currently in serious disarray – er, I mean in development. I hope soon to restore it in a weekly revised and updated format. Meanwhile, you can find the my original 1985 book in ebook format at my Internet Archive site. A three-year week-by-week index to the complete online digital text is here (coming).

Finally, my blog (this website) which I plan to make my basic source for thoughts and commentary. See “Recent Posts and “Archives” on the right side of this page. Active retirement at Nazareth House gives me the opportunity to pursue lots of interests which, I believe, have a dimension of ministry – sharing the Gospel in varied and creative ways. You can subscribe and be notified when I post something new.
